AlKhulasah.com
Al Khulasah is one of the best ideas and most effective services I've ever seen on the Internet. Al Khulasah picks carefully
selected useful English books, translates and presents an 8-pages Arabic summary with 80% of the book ideas to the reader. It
not only breaks the language barrier in the Arab world but also saves a lot of time. I was contracted by Al Khulasah to take
over the web site development long before the launching and added a lot of features to it including the Arabic version.
My Roles
- Consultation
- Arabization and development of new features

Project Link for Microsoft Project Server 2003 (Work-In-Progress or Work-Will-Never-Progress)
The "Project Link" started as a small application residing in the task bar notification area. Its purpose is to notify
project team members who use Microsoft Project Server for project management and collaboration when they have a newly assigned or
updated task in a notification balloon, instead of having to use the web-based access to Project Server. The target was to better
update the team members with any project changes to avoid wasting time and effort on tasks that might change and to make the project
team tighter.
During my work in this project, I expanded the scope to become a replacement tool for the basic activities the user needs to perform via
the web-based access to MS Project Server such as viewing all his/her project/tasks and their information, updating tasks status. This
includes a full offline version of the user data and I'm hoping to add encryption to the offline data and more security. Another idea is
to add project manager monitoring and resource management capabilities in the future.
